Corrections Policy
We publish educational finance content. When we get a fact wrong, we fix it openly and quickly.
1. Report it
Email viacapitalofficial@gmail.com with the article URL, the sentence or figure you believe is wrong, and the source that shows the correct information.
2. We review within 48 hours
Every report is checked against primary sources first — SEBI, RBI, NSE, BSE, exchange filings and company disclosures — before any edit is made.
3. We correct and disclose
Substantive factual corrections are made in the article body and recorded in a dated correction note at the foot of that article. We do not silently rewrite published facts.
4. We close the loop
If you reported the error and left contact details, we reply once the correction is live.
What counts as a correction
- Correction — a published fact was wrong (a figure, date, name, rate, regulation or attribution). The article is edited and a dated note explains what changed.
- Update — the facts were right when published but have since changed (for example, a revised subscription figure or a new tax rule). The article carries an updated timestamp.
- Clarification — the facts were right but the wording could mislead. We rephrase and note it.
- Typo — spelling or formatting only. Fixed without a note.
Accountability
Editorial responsibility for all published content sits with the VIA Capital Editorial Desk. Every article names its author, and author credentials are listed on their profile page.
VIA Capital publishes financial education only. Nothing on this site is personalised investment advice — see our disclaimer and editorial policy.
